Like the metal rods, "DESIRA“ spiral metal bonings made of
galvanised and flat rolled spring steel wire are mainly applied
in the orthopaedic field, where they do not only meet forming and
supporting requirements but also material stretching requirements. Due
to their construction, spiral metal bonings are always more elastic
than metal rods so that it is possible to form them in axial as well as
in lateral direction.
